Captain Ado Sanusi is the Chief Executive Officer of Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria Limited, bringing over three decades of experience in the aviation industry. A distinguished alumnus of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, he holds a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Sciences from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as professional certifications from Flight Safety International and the University of Southern California. He further honed his leadership and strategic acumen through executive education at Wharton Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he earned certificates in the Advanced Management Program (AMP) and Leadership Decision Making (LDM), respectively.
Captain Sanusi’s career spans notable roles including Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), where he spearheaded the implementation of Total Radar Coverage of the Nigerian Airspace (TRACON), and leadership positions at ExxonMobil, Virgin Nigeria, and Arik Air. With a blend of world-class training and deep operational expertise, he remains a driving force in advancing aviation safety, modernization, and human capital development across Africa’s aviation sector
