Anthony Idokogi fsi serves as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Aviation Security (AVSEC) with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). He is currently the Airport Chief of Security (ACoS) at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. He is an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Certified Aviation Security Instructor and a Fellow of the Security Institute.
Mr. Idokogi holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Information Systems from the Federal School of Survey, Oyo State, alongside a Bachelor of Agriculture and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He joined FAAN's Aviation Security Department in 2000 and has held various positions, including Principal Staff Officer to several Chief Security Officers and the first Head of the AVSEC Standards and Compliance Unit, MMIA.
He has extensive experience in conducting AVSEC trainings, serving on multiple airport committees, and participating in significant aviation security audits. His professional development includes numerous courses and workshops, notably on counterproliferation awareness and active shooter incidents, as well as ICAO and INTERPOL symposiums.
Recently, Mr. Idokogi was the lead facilitator for two ICAO Aviation Security workshops held in The Gambia from 1st to 14th November 2025.
