Mr. Ogunleye is a seasoned aviation security and management leader with more than two
decades of experience directing complex operations at major U.S. airports and on the
international stage. He began his career with the Transportation Security Administration in
April 2003 at Oakland International Airport, progressing through roles including Customer
Support & Quality Improvement Manager, Program Analyst in TSA’s Office of Security
Operations, Stakeholder Liaison Manager, and TSA Liaison to the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) Region IX. He served as Deputy Assistant Federal Security
Director for Screening at San Francisco International Airport and as Director of Screening
Operations at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for eight years. In 2019 he was
appointed TSA Attaché/Representative to West Africa, and in 2022 he joined Dallas/Fort
Worth International Airport (ranked world’s second busiest airport) as Assistant Vice President
for Airport Security. He currently serves as CEO of Decision Gates Limited, an aviation
security and counterterrorism advisory firm operating in the United States and Nigeria.
A graduate of the acclaimed Senior Leadership Development - Senior Executive Service
(SLDP-SES) Program at American University, Mr. Ogunleye holds degrees in Mathematics/
Statistics and Computer Telecommunications Network Management, reflecting a strong
analytical and technical foundation. His expertise in stakeholder engagement, emergency
response, screening operations, and international security collaboration has informed policy
and practice across jurisdictions, making him a leading voice in aviation security.
