Nkechi is a distinguished legal and governance professional with over two decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning aviation security, corporate governance, legal ,compliance and NGO advisory. Renowned for her strategic thinking, institutional transformation, innovation and commitment to capacity building, Nkechi has consistently delivered impact at both national and international levels.
A lawyer by training, she obtained her LL.B from the University of Ibadan, where she was awarded the Best Graduating Student in Labour Law (2002). She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 with honors and later qualified as a Chartered Secretary and Administrator through the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK), earning the Best Student in Corporate Administration Award in June 2008.

Nkechi holds multiple professional fellowships, including: Fellow, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) Fellow, Institute of Certified Public Administrators of England and Wales She also holds both a Post-Certificate in Human Rights Law and an LL.M in Law from Queen Mary University of London.

In 2015, Nkechi broke new ground as the first female Registrar/CEO of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria ICSAN, where she led transformative initiatives in professional development, ethical leadership, and institutional governance.
